I can't seem to figure this out and need some advice based on peoples experiences.
I have a 75 gallon glass tank, with plastic trim top and bottom. The stand is an older pine stand. My tank sits only about 3" away from the wall, and when I level it front to back, it's leaving a gap under the entire back side of the stand about 1/2" off the floor. Since its so close to the wall, I'm unable to get my hand back there to shim it. Unfortunately Im unable to access it from inside the stand, because I had to remove the center brace to fit the sump, and it's already put back together. What should I do in this situation? Should I rip a piece of plywood 48" long and just put it under the backside of the stand and level it accordingly from there? My floor is also wavy. If there are a couple gaps here and there a few inches long between the floor and the stand, should I still be ok? Any help and input is much appreciated...
