Hey guys so I’m picking up a 90 gallon reef ready tank on Thursday. Currently I’m running 2 AI primes on 40b. I keep all lps with a couple montis and so far everything looks great. I’m trying to figure out lighting for the 90 build though. The dimensions are 48x18x24. I’m not sure if two primes will cut it, what do you guys think, should I buy another light fixture? If so what?

I bought 2 used Radion xr30 pros for my 90g. Great coverage and terrific color. Then put 3D light shades over them. Reduces all viewing glare, directs light down, significantly reduces algae buildup on the glass. Good luck.

Thanks man unfortunately that’s not really within my budget. My main obstacle is the center brace. I may grab some black boxes from a buddy. Go black box, prime, prime, black box from left to right.
