Anybody have any experience with this 40 gallon breeder LED fixture? They said they're coming out with a dimmable version in the next month or so, but if this will do the job for zoas, softies and maybe a clam or anemone I might just get this one. I'm probably capable of a DIY, but I'd rather spend my time gazing at the tank instead of building lighting. I'm not dead set on LED's, but I do like how they use way less energy and you don't ever really have to change the bulbs. Any input is greatly appreciated as I'm fairly new to the hobby, but have lots of good support from my cousins and a friend who lives right around the corner, not to mention Danny here at Bulldog Reefs in Naples. Thanks in advance!

Just bought a 36" 6 bulb ati fixture for my 40b build. Check the forum and look at some of the ati setups that are on here, simply amazing! !

Solar, I think I've decided on this one here. Relatively cheap for being all setup and ready to hang, and it's dimmable. My friend has this exact one and it's very nice. reefbreeders

Yes I was looking at that one also, but i have emailed logan 3 different times and still have yet to recieve a response.
If customer service is nonexistent I could think about other things that are also. It was a tossup between that one and the photon 24. I think in my case I want to put acros in the sand lol that the value fixture wouldn't be enought.

He actually just emailed me back tonight after emailing him a few days to a week ago. Pretty sure he's just busy. My friend just got the same fixture and its very nice. Should light the breeder nicely.

idk how it looks yet its waiting for bulbs but my other tank has a ati setup and i looks amazing

They are coming out with a new fixture in a couple months. Top of the line Cree bulbs and wireless. $500 for 24" version.

I am very happy with my 27" Maxspect Razor on my 40b. Great fixture and very nice looking. Here is a crappy cell phone pic but this is with the lights at about 80%:

I also use a 27" R420R (16000k) on my 40B, it seems as if the light was almost built for this exact tank size. Excellent coverage and power.
