I feed mine a mix of reef roids, coral frenzy, and cyclopeez and target feed twice a week. I also feed each mouth a couple chunks of squid 1 a week. My wall hammer is a picky eater

+1 to letitreefs post. I recently put my branching hammer in moderately strong but indirect flow and what I consider lower light and I've never ever seen it look better.

I use a mix of coralific delight and mysis. It has almost doubled in a month.

How much should I feed my hammer and how many times?

I feed my lps one to two times a week with arcti pods, brine shrimp (spirulinra) and mysis

I never feed my frogspawn and it looks and grows great. It will open in lower flow, but since your tank is so new and shouldn't even have corals yet, its hard to say if there may be something else going on.

Mine didn't open up until I started feeding it reef chili now it looks awesome

Just don't over feed them or their belly will swell up and they will get crabs.
