I am continuing the build on my 110 gallon tall tank and have had MH in the past but really want to go with LEDs without breaking the bank. Any suggestions. The tank is 30 inches tall x 4 foot long. Really need something that can reach the bottom. I mainly only have softies and some sps. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Good and cheap LEDs, look at Taotronics. I have the programmable one with optics and I love it for the price. U can get the non programmable ones for around $150-200. You would need three units to cover your tank though. That's jus my personal opinion.... LEDs are a touchy subject around here.

I built my own LED array and love it. Monthly cost to run is so much lower and heat isn't an issue.

I have the same tank and I run 250 watt MH and have LPS, zoas, mushrooms all growing great on the sand bed and SPS thriving all throughout the tank. I'm considering adding LED just to supplement the MH and T5s.

Reef Radiance has some of the best prices and good support on LEDs.

I'll echo Brandon on that one. I picked up 4 of the DM155 for under $600. Not a bad deal, but I'm only planning softies and LPS for what it's worth!
