Need help. New and not sure what this is.

Just saw this crawling on my 1peice of live rock. Everything else in the tank is dry rock and 1npeicenofnlive rock. Anyone have any idea if this is harmful and I need to take out the rock or is it ok to stay. It's so small so it's hard to get a super clear picture.

I want to say ghost flatworm which the fish will pick off eventually., but I'm unsure of what I'm looking at in the picture. is it the white little worm in the center?

Ya the white thing. It kinda crawls out then hides again.

You'll probably be fine... Do you have fish in the tank? If you can snag a better shot we can get a more positive ID.

No fish. In the middle of the cycle.

Ah, just leave them be for now... once you add fish and a CuC they'll probably disappear naturally. Keep us posted though

Its a Planaria Flatworm, not ghost and is not a coral killer,. , , , However can grow in numbers then become a problem as they will smother coral in search of food source.
Wrasses such as 6 lines, melanurus or Lunare should eat them, but easiest is to siphon up and discard as long as they arent large in numbers.

I have amphipods that look like that. Up close, they look like extremely teeny mantis shrimp. They sometimes go up into the water column and spin around in circles a bit, so I call them 'party amphipods'.
