Need help pick a light for nuvo fusion 20

Hello
I'm new to saltwater aquariums. Im currently setting up a im nuvo fusion 20 and as I know most don't recommend starting with sps, I want to eventually grow sps without having to make a second purchase for a light. I know of the $350-400 range lights but wanted to see what's working for everyone else.

Love these lights. Would be perfect for that size. Kessil A80 would be another option.

I have looked into AI prime Hd just haven't seen them in person. From all the videos I can find you have the "disco" ball affect. And at 420 for 2 of them would it be worth just getting the AI Hydra 26 or ecotech radion 15xr?

I'd rather be able to plug it in and have the gold standard of lighting. Love my mh/t5 fixture.

It does have a bit of the "disco ball" affect, but personally I like that. Don't know the exact dimensions on the fusion 20, but I would think that one AI Prime HD would be enough for it. There are some pretty good videos on youtube from BRS highlighting the AI Primes. I have one on my 29g standard, albeit no SPS, but I don't see an issue with it easily handling some SPS.

That is really something you should not be doing. Lighting should be as stable as possible, find the correct settings and leave it be.

I would look at two Kessil A160's or a cheaper option would be two of the current marine IC Led's.

I have a Nuvo fusion 20 AI Prime Hd over my tank. I don’t notice the disco ball effect much at all, and you can really dial it up BRS has the AB+ program for it but I personally don’t run that. It is completely tunable however you want it. My only complaint is with one light you have kind of a spotlight effect instead of even coverage I’ve the whole tank, it has only affected a one montipora digitata because only one side gets light. You could start with one and as you have success with other corals add the second AI prime and they might be cheaper then. Just an idea.
