Currently have a 40 gallon aio cube (21.7”x21.7”x31.5”H) with two hygger wave makers. It’s not bad but I feel like I need more. I want more flow and movement especially for my sand bed and rocks.

Looking to get a gyre and I would also like to future proof it for when I buy a peninsula tank in a year or two and use it in that too. Which do you recommend for someone in my shoes?

I would buy 2 of the large Jebao wifi gyres

Mounted vertical on the back towards the sided

If I were in your shoes, and considering the pumps you already have

How big a peninsula?
Obviously, the 180 gyre that the other poster mentioned would be entirely too big for a 21-in tank let alone two of them. Geez, you'd be mopping up the floor every 10 minutes when they turn on.

Perhaps maybe one small gyre. You can always add another when you get the bigger tank.

I have a 5-ft 150 gallon, I just bought two jaebo 120's and so far so good. I'm glad I didn't go any bigger, they do the job just fine.

I would like to stay around 75gallons no more then 100gallon for the peninsula. I do know the gyre would be strong for my tank but I wouldn’t be using it at full power. And I would like one that swivels automatically if they have those.

The Jebao are fine , I have a ecp 120 but non WiFi although I’ve set it once it doesn’t need changing all the time

I have a couple of jebao scp 150. You may need a smaller version. I've been happy with them. Much quieter than the icecap I had before. They always started whining and I would have to move them around to get air bubbles out to quiet them down. Have no idea how air bubbles formed under water but they did every few days. I don't have that problem with the jebao gyre
