You will always want to go bigger..and that's a pretty nice 215.

I would totally go for the 215 gal for $1k that thing looks awesome plus it will give you $500 extra to put into some dope equipment!!

I would get a brand new tank from scaquariums. But the 215 looks awesome!! Just look over seals if it's used.

Do you have the proper equipment for the 215? If not I think I would roll with the reefer series. The overall appearance of yhe reefer is light years cleaner as well.

Does the 215 come with the stand and cabinet and all? I would say bigger. I have a 120, have only had it for about 8 months, and am itching to upgrade already. I would rather go bigger and have plenty of time to pick stock and have more options with fish, etc. As long as the seams and all look good and you can test. Like was said before, that gives you some extra moolah to put into the sump equipment.

Well, just looking at size yes, the 215 may be a good option.

But, appearance wise it looks like a piece of furniture from the 69's. Personally I could not get myself to look at that in my living room. I would go for the reefer given the two.

Another option - Cad Lights sells a 165 gall Artisan II online for $999 with the open top appearance but a glass cover to reduce evaporation loss by 50%, which the reefer does not have. The stand is another $750, piano black or white finish with a marine grade paint. They also sell a ~50 gallon sump to go with it, much larger than the reefer. They also have a 5 gall glass ATO tank that can sit on top of the sump. Much larger capacity compared to reefer for less maintenance.

I just ordered a system from them and I read that their service is questionable so I will keep you posted.

I also have a Red Sea tank. Love it, but very expensive and lacks some of the features I mentioned.
