I have biocube 29g HQI. I have had this cube for 2 years now. It recently crashed and I had to start all over again with new livesand and LR. Its been 2 months now since i have set it up. Recently last week brown stuff has started to show up on sand bed and on rock as well. Any suggesstions as to what it is and how to contain it.

It's diatom and additional flow will get rid of it. Just part of the cycle. I would assume that the corner of the tank doesn't have much flow in it.

Diatom algae. Normal part of cycling a tank. Increased flow is "never" a bad thing and it'll naturally go away and other algaes will take its place.
