need help planning future build!

hello everyone!

I am going to be putting together a 57 gallon rimless an would like help figuring out what I need

I have no equipment for the tank so Im looking for input on anything and everything.

trying to stay on a budget and need to plan on how much money I am going to need. but I dont think I will be going for any ecotech or tunze pumps (but I will if I can find some used!)

Lighting: I have a broken ecotech radion that just needs a new powersupply so I will probably just get that fixed and use that as my light (dotn know why the power supply broke but they said I could send it in and they would send a new one)

Circulation: I like lower flow tanks. (obviously nothing to low)

return pump: no clue what I need! (750?)

sump suggestions?

Protein skimmer suggestions?

any other suggestions?? lol

It's probably easier to figure out a budget first and then narrow things down. Also, what are you planning to keep? An SPS-dominate reef tank will require different equipment than a FOWLR.

very good point ha idk why I didnt think to put what the heck I am going to do with this tank! sorry about that!

It will be a reef tank with few fish, 2 clowns, some wrasses, gobies and blenny. with a mix of everything! mainly chalices, zoas and sps. of course there will be many other kinds of corals in there though I always find something unique that I like!

layout would be sps up top. zoas on the lower half of the rock work. and chalices all throughout the sand! and I have a red haddoni carpet that will be in there also.
