need help please

so im gettin this new premium live rock from the gulf ttoday, and i want to dip it because last night i picked off thrre weird things eating on my zoas. i believe them to have come from the live rock i prevously got from this guy..

so i have this OLD bottle of NatuReef IODINE PLUS, can i use this to make a dip possibly and if so how would i do it?

Your best bet would be a quarantine for a few weeks to starve any predators...
Doing a dip will cause die off and prolly throw a ammonia spike in your tank and make it cycle....

die off? and a quarantine would be like, gettin a 5 gallon bucket and making a fresh batch of water and sitting the rocks in it for a few weeks?

not sure how you are getting the rock but if it is shipped in there is already gonna be plenty of die off that will cause a ammonia spikes...."criters and bacteria"
a bucket would work if ya wanted.... i would set up a tub with a skimmer and do weekly water changes for a couple weeks and when test kits all read good go for it.... add it slowly thou to the tank..... like 10lbs a day or so.....
