I haven't been able to successfully ID this one frag.. But I noticed today there is some tissue recession.. Help me please!?! I'm not sure if there is a way to save it or if its a lost cause...
-noticed some recession around the base
Also on the bottom side of a tip/branch on the front left of this pic
And a couple patches along the back of it..
This is what it looked like when we got it.
After a couple weeks we put it on the rock work. It slowly lost some of its vibrant blue color and the polyps started to come out less.. But it was still growing.. I don't know what to do... Please help.
Our params are
Salinity 1.025
Alk: 10
Ca:460/480
No3: 0
Po4: 0
Ph: 8.4
Temp: 77.8 - 78.3
Side note: While doing some more research we thought it looked closest to an Acropora Formosa..
