Hello my name is Walter and I am from Suzhou China. I graduated as English major. I see not too many Chinese hobbyist here. I have loved going to aquariums since I was a child and always wanted to have my own reef tank. The hobby here is very new, maybe no more than 15 years old since 2005. Not many good resources in Chinese Internet to learn about the hobby so I have come here to ask all of you for help, and would really welcome your advice.
I am currently living in rental apartment like many young people in Chinese cities, and the space is not too big. When I see many of you guys in Western country with big tank I am very very jealous of you haha. Here a 1.5 meter tank already considered big but I think for many of you maybe just medium.
For my first tank I don’t have very much space, so I can only do the 90cm by 60cm by 60cm. That is 3 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot is 90 gallons. I would like all of you to see if the fish for my first tank is ok, maybe too much?:
一对 人工公子小丑 (x2 common Clown fish- the Captive Bred we can find in China) 11cm
一条 美国鬼王 (x1 Royal Gramma) 8cm
一条 紫雷达 (x1 Purple Fire Fish- I like more than red one) 9cm
一条 东非火背仙 (x1 East Africa Flame Back Angel) 8cm
两条 红眼玫瑰 (x2 Red Eye- Spotted Cardinal Fish)
两条 黄肚蓝魔 (x2 Yellow Belly Blue Damsel?)
一条 橙点虾虎 + 枪虾 (x1 Orange Spot Shimp Goby + Pistol Shrimp)
一条 星点西瓜刨 / 双色鳚 (x1 Star Spot Algae Eating Goby or Bi-Color Goby)
And for the snail and shrimp:
一条 火焰虾 (x1 Fire Shrimp)
两条 清洁虾 (x2 Skunk Shrimp)
x6 algae eating snail
x6 scavenger snail
x6 detritus snail
一条 枪虾 (x1 pistol shrimp)
Is this too much for my tank? And what other nice fish you think I can have??
