Hey guys picked up this piece and no idea what it is. Any help would be great

Photos under white light would help, but my first guess would be some kind of euphyllia. It’s hard for me to see the tips though with all the blue light. Some of them look like they have “fingers”, which is not a feature of euphyllia.

It is a stoney coral. The fingers are the polyps

It has the stems of a deep water but doesn't really seem like a deep water

Whites

I can see the Galaxea. Pictures online don't look similar tho. I know they are aggressive with sweepers

The polyps look like galaxea but the structure is stoney. Definitely not alveapora I have one of those

Ticked off duncan? Tentacles/heads don't look exactly right but I think the skeletal structure fits.

I always thought Deep water stony corals were mostly smooth skin
Yes the structure looks like smooth skin. Never seen any in person but looks like the pictures only different. lower not expanding not branching out

I'm also leaning towards a duncan. They can still remain green even when they lose most of their polyps or are extremely ticked off.

My vote goes for duncan or turbinaria, no smooth skinned acro has polyps that pushed out IME. They also look too big for a smoothie.
