Need help to ID this

This started growing off of a torch that I had for quite some time after I cut back on the flow in the tank. The sections are about 1/8 inch across.

Any more pictures? Are the strains all connected via a vine or is each strand its own?

After looking around a little it appears to be a Halimeda species, possibly H. opuntia. Good thing to have IMO.

Do you dose calcium? It looks like Halimeda Discoidea

Halimeda, and it uses calcium as it grows (has a skeleton). Which means if you have a lot of it, you may need to dose or do extra water changes to keep up with ca and alk. Also algae eating fish ignore it.

No I don't dose calcium but I have AWC that does 3% change daily on 83 total system gallons.
