Hy I am new to reef keeping and am worried about this white algae. Can someone please help me out on it cause I have no idea if it is bad! my set up is around 5 months old now. All I have in there is 3 green/blue chromis and 2 young clownfish which are healthy but now it is time to start putting corals in since my parameters where stable for about 2 months now. these are my parameters ;
PH 8 / 8.2 KH 10 NO2 0.5 NO3 15 PO4 0

This pic is of my return pump. Please excuse me if this has been somewhere already and I missed it. I am searching alot and cannot find the same white staff! I do not think that this is Diotoms neither!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Almost looks like green slime algae in the first two pictures, the second looks like it not algae but a sponge.

May be this pic is more understandable.
Thanks for your reply, if it is sponge is it safe for the future corals?

Yes, sponges in general are a good thing.

These are in my sump, and my bio-pellet reactor... can you confirm they look the same to what you have?

Yes at the surface of the reactor seem to be the same as I have on my rocks. Many thanks for your advice, it is a sigh of reliefe for me so I can look forward for the first corals :)
