I am new on the forum and am having trouble with treating my firefish. I am keeping it as the only fish in a fluval nuvo 13.5 gallon. Last week it developed what looked like ich. The picture does not get all of the dots on it as there are a few smaller ones on the fins. I do not believe it is velvet since it isn't really progressed. I am treating the dt with polyp lab as advised to me by multiple lfs since I don't have a qt at the moment. There are about 15-20 small dots right now though he is still eating well. Could it not be ich? Should I treat with something else. I am a kid and this is my first saltwater tank and fish so I obviously don't want to lose it.
