It's time for me to get a new heater. Ever since I moved it from dt down to my fuge, my temp isn't as stable. Need something with more power and stability. No sure what heater I have now since I have had it for years.

What heater do you guys recommend? I need something that can heat up a volume of 140 gallons and able to keep it stable.

I would look into using multiple heaters. 2 or 3 with lower wattages rather than one high wattage one.
The reason being if you have a heater that the thermostat sticks on then the likelyhood of cooking your tank is much higher with a single high wattage one. Even with a controller.

i had some cheap heaters on my tank titanium 500 watt it didnt keep up with my 120g so i added 300 watt eheim heater then it turned out the eheim was good enough to keep tank stable 79 all year round . check the one you want google some reviews some heaters have recall on them for starting fires
