Need help with a bio cube 32 pump upgrade to a Sicce Syncra 2.0

I bought the pump and thought it would be plug and play but I believe it needs three-quarter inch tubing because the stock tubing in my bio cube does not fit it. Can someone tell me what to do and what I need to buy to install the Sicce Syncra 2.0?

Yes, it is 3/4"-1" tubing adapter it has.

I am guessing you have 1/2" tubing? You would just need an adapter that is 3/4" to 1/2". They are sold all over the place online, but you pay shipping for a cheap part. Lowes might have one in the irrigation are of the plumbing section.

I believe I found what I needed on eBay and I just ordered it. Is this what you were talking about?

I wanted something that would screw right into the top of the pump and I could attach the stock 1/2” tube to the Barb.

It was because I was not getting enough flow from the stock pump.

I found a 3/4" MPT x 1/2" Barb adapter on Ebay so that should fix my problem.

Yes, that should work. It lacks the little o-ring on the Sicce adapter, so I would use some teflon tape on the threads.

I found the 3/4 thread to 1/2in barb at homedepot but wouldn't the half inch be limiting the flow and putting extra stress on the pump? I looked up polytubing and kept seeing around 200ish max GPH for 1/2" which is roughly the stock pump. Anyone modify the entire line?
