I stumbled across this baby snail in my main tank, it kind of looks like a Turbo snail, as I have 4 of them in the tank, but nothing else recently added so maybe he has been around a while and I haven't seen. Verification?

Secondly, I am trying to culture my own copepods, and started them in a second tank using fresh saltwater not from main tank. All has been well for about 2 weeks now, but I have noticed a few of these white looking snowflake things on the glass. They do not seem to be moving at all at first glance. They kind of look like ?hydroids? or maybe the beginnings of those pest baby starfish? Thoughts?

Appreciate the help!

For the snail, I'd say pull it out into a small container of saltwater and get a closer/better pic.

2nd one might be a hydroid but don't quote me on that.
