Need help with a Skimmer install

I just got my my aquaticlife 115 internal mini protein skimmer. I am installing it into Chamber one of my Coralife biocube 29g. i'm running into some trouble. When I go to put the skimmer in the water level is kinda high and submerges the skimmer under water. If you have any advice tip or can be of any help with this I would be very gracious. If anyone could help from the install to running it I would be very gracious. Thank you very much in advance

I know a lot of people build stands for their skimmers out of acrylic or eggcrate to get their skimmers to the right level. Sorry I can't help with your specific model though.

this is by far the most annoying piece of equipment I've ever bought for my tank. I've done the mod to make is little quitter and all I hear now is gargling. evertime I close the lid on the tank it pushes the skimmer lower causing the cup to overflow with water. I have been messing with this STUPID point of sale since 4pm and have got no where. Can anyone help.

One thing I can tell you is that....it wont fit while the hood is on your tank.

it fits but I don't know what i'm doing for some reason it just keeps filling up with water real fast. Its like the bubbles overflow and just fill up real fast within minutes.

I just bought this skimmer and am not having very much success. I know it is only the first day, but the bubbles aren't even reaching over the top of the thing in the cup. I feel like this should be happening, and skimming wet or something rather than not even reaching the edge.

Anyone with some input on the Aquaticlife 115 protein skimmer?
