Need help with adding second AI Prime

Sooooo I got both lights paired with the app and am able to adjust their settings. I have both as their own tank name as well.

My problem is I want one light to have different settings and each time I change the settings for one it also changes the light settings for the other.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think they can have different settings if they are paired.

You are going to have to un-pair them to control them separately.

On the computer site up in the upper left it will say Parent - controlling two lights- and then a down arrow. Click the down arrow and then click on the light that is the Child, it will ask if you want to delete it, click yes. Then you have to set it up on it's own wifi signal.

They are not paired toether. They are both parent lights with seperate "tank names"

I'm able to change the time zone with no problem on each with no problem. It's just the light settings that seem to be paired.

You said they were paired at first....were they paired before, like you said?

And now you've un-paired them and they still don't work right?

Or were they never paired in the first place?

I meant paired with the app.

They are both parents. This is indicated with the solid green light on the top of the light fixture.

I've deleted/reinstalled the app
I've factory reset and network reset both lights to no avail.

Have two Primes but it was so hard to get them paired I do not want to run an experiment and see if I can replicate your experience. I am with the others. It they are truly both parents with different tank names and you can select each one and program them differently they should operate independently. If I were you I would delete all tank names you have created on the AI server via the app. Then reset each light to the factory settings by holding down the button until the AI light flashes red. Let go of the button as soon as it flashes red. Then go about setting each one up separately per the instructions. Skip any pairing step. I would think that should work

By the way, to get mine to pair I had to do some of these steps multiple times. One try did not work. Needless to say I was not happy at how hard it was to get these lights to work
