Need help with algae problem???

I have a 2 year old biocube 29 reef tank and I cannot win this algae problem I've been having. It started right after I upgraded to LED. I'm assuming that is what's causing it. Also I need advise on filtration ideas. I will include photos. Please help and thanks.

It really doesn't look that bad. Your snail should be eating it.

If the LEDs have red. Make sure sure to dial them down. They grow algae a lot

This is after I just cleaned everything. It only takes about 4 hours for the tank to be completely green again, also would adding a fuge be beneficial to an aquarium this small? I was thinking about filling the whole middle chamber with chato and lighting it possibly to help

They make algae scrubbers too.

You haven't measured your lights, so start with that. It's likely you're over-lighting the tank.

Do you have a light meter?

How long are your lights on per day?

I don't have a light meter. I have them on about 6 hours a day. The blues are around 65% and the whites around 40%

Did you leave the bioballs in?

How often and how much are your water changes? If that tank was mine, I would do 30% changes every other day until the algae was under control. Reduce feeding as well.

ur tanks a 29 gal? u can eather do a 10 or 5 gal water change if ur tanks numbers are good i would do a 5 gallon water chance once every 1 pr 2 weeks now if they are not doing good a 10 gal water change once every 1 or 2 weeks

I've had an algae problem .... that's not an algae problem. That being said, watching my feeding habits really helped keep my tank in check.

Dont agree on the reds.
Yes too much light. look at the $14 red lux meter on amazon.
Looks like the new rock has coralline coming in. And the new rock is adding some elements to the water.
Check if the tunze 9001 will fit in there.
Im guessing your only running chemical and mechanical filtration.
