I have a Reefer 525XL and an entire apex system. I am looking for someone (a true guru) in the Dallas area that installs and monitors apex systems.

Hop on you tube and you’ll be a pro in no time

Update. For any of you in the Dallas or Ft. Worth area. I found a local fish store (Dallas North Aquarium) that sells, installs and monitors apex systems.

Hmmm you would be best off to learn it yourself and do it yourself for future issues so you can fix yourself and not rely on anyone else
Nothing hard about it with all the information out there

It’s just like learning anything, once you learn how to use it’s not hard at all. I always thought I could never do it until I bought it and learned. Fast forward now I am very comfortable with monitoring diagnosing and adjusting using my Apex. Big thanks to members on this forum as well as others and Youtube. Doesn’t hurt to have a basic understanding like others have said this way you can resolve an issue without relying on someone else, but if your ok with someone else monitoring and controlling your Apex that’s your prerogative.

You are both correct. Learning and doing it yourself is better. Although as much as I hate to say, I am 59 years old and do not have as much confidence in jumping into some things. Hopefully that is none of you and never will be. I have watched a lot of videos and read alot on here and have learned a ton about reefing. I will be monitoring my apex and am aware of how to fix alot already. It was just the initial setup and programming that I didn't want to deal with.

That is one of the great things about the Apex compared to other controllers is how plug and play it is an user-friendly there’s tutorials for everything and quick set up options for most things as far as add-ons anyways yeah the more you play with it the more you learn so just keep on learning
