So I just received this in the mail.

The question I have first is how to use the kalkwasser as I do not have an auto top off. Usually I just have a 5gal bucket that I fill once a week and top off my tank daily. Any insight on this whole setup would be appreciated. Just woke up from a nap and I'm a little lost on everything. Thanks!

Do you know how much alkalinity your tank consumes in a day, in dKH or meq/L?

What size aqaurium?
It's a 90 gallon. Going to be testing over the next week to get the consumption levels correct. Currently I've just been adding 3tsp of baking soda to my bucket of RoDi for top off. Hasn't been an exact science but kept numbers close. Got this new package because I want to be a little more thorough.

Watched the BRS video on it. Seems like an ATO is finally in my future.

Ato like a osmolator is not a good choice. Buy a doser. You can get an inexpensive one like this on Amazon.

Auto top offs get clogged easy. You burn the pumps out due to corrosion and they mis-dose constantly in my experience. A perilistic pump does not touch the kalk so no corrosion will occur.
