I am on my 4th chalice and this once is slowly withering away. The first 3 all slowly melted away. I really would not like to loose this watermelon chalice. I have no idea what to do. Placed all of them in different locations and still cant get it.

My tank is primarily SPS and they are all doing great with amazing PE. I have zoas on the sand doing great and 1 Blasto that is growing slow. My torches all have multiple heads. and my hammer probalby has like 30+ heads.

Lighting is T5 hybrid with 4 kessil 360 . Tank is 150g 60x24x24. Max par at the top is probably 280-300 cant remember. Water changes every 2 weeks. Alk sits around 8.3-8.5.

Flow is 3 neptune Wav that i have rocking the tank quite nice for 2 hours then calm for 2 ect...

Could use advise as these shouldn't be that difficult to keep.

I know my chalices (when I kept them) did prefer lower light and flow. Say you have tried all over, so it may just be a problem with warfare. Sometimes there are corals that just do not work in a tank.
Hope you find a good place for that. Your tank sound nice.

I agree. My chalices are all on the bottom of the tank. Definitely less light.
Over the years, they have withered, then rebounded several times. I DO know that they don't like the chemical warfare associated with other corals fighting for space.
