I live in Western Colorado and the nearest place to buy coral is 4+ hours away. Thus, I cannot go see any coral in person :(

I'm trying to find information regarding which corals look the most vibrant in daylight. I know anything fluorescent is bright under blue lights.

But...Daylight? (Edited to say Full Spectrum lights) Why can't I find info on this?

I'd like specific names of the corals. Not LPS, SPS, etc. please.

All responses appreciated.

I am not sure what you mean by day light. as in you are using sunlight to grow corals or you are only using white lights. generally blue is what they grow good under from what I understand as you are mimicking the corals natural environment and that is the spectrum of color at that depth. wither it be led florescent or other means of lighting.

There are lots of green ones that are super bright in daylight. Green trumpet:

What I mean is when the full spectrum lights are on. Not just the blue.

O I see. Cherry corals are all under blues but all corals I have recived from them pretty much look the same with lights off just with less color pop. I have gotten mummy eye chalice and a few other chalices from them very color accurate. A scolymia war paint coral. Birds nest not as green under full spec light but pretty close. Hum. Idk I'm a chalice sorta guy so that's my best to offer
