Ever since I added bacteria to the tank to help eat up detritus and clean the tank with I dosed twice. My sps arent showing any polyps and my monti is losing and acros are STNing. I also noticed my zoas look like they are starting to melt. I checked parameters and everything is where they normally are at. Calcium is at 480 mag is at 1380 no3 is at .5ppm p04 is at .06ppm only thing I noticed is my alk is starting to climb a bit which has always been running high and dont know how to lower it without killing my acros and sps. Normally my alkalinity runs in high 10's and today it was at 11.3. I have an AIO nano tank and run the AB+ spectrum on an AI prime

I also been dosing amino acids to try and feed the coral to help with color and polyps but having noticed anything different before I did the bacteria everything was good and healthy

Sounds like the over hyped bateria trend lately claimed another victim.

best to throw it away and go back to what you were doing before to stop the deaths. About all you can do in reality.

Try water changes but since it’s bacteria gonna really have to wait it out for the most part. Hope you don’t lose anything more!
