Need help with coralline

Is their any reason why all my coralline turned white all coral are good water is right on the dot I added a frag tank 2 weeks ago could that have had something to do with it. The frag tank is plumed in to my sump and running on main display tank any ideas?

check your levels...something is out of balance. most likely major calc drop or alk spike.

Alk is 8.6. Cal is 430 ph 8.2

I would keep testing your Calcium every day until your next water change, to see how much is being depleted. Are you dosing?

+1 did you have a large swing on ether?

Usually caused by lack of calcium. I've noticed when i moved my tank from home to home my coralline turned white, and also when I did a large water change and the coralline that was exposed turned whitish.

I had some coralline die off and I checked my levels. I had everything was good but mag. I would definitely chec the magnesium

About 2 weeks ago I took biopelets off line couse zoas were getting really small. And started useing vitamin c. I have keep a close eye on all levels in tank. Every thing is doing good a frag of 2p magicians I got a week and 1/2 ago has 7 baby's coming out of it and all my other zoas are returning to the normal sizes
