Noticed my powder blue tang acting a bit strange over the last couple days. Today it has a spot on its face.
It has been swimming more crazy than normal.. some flashing, darting through the live rock caves, etc.. just seems more erratic than normal.
I have been doing a lot of hands on activities in the tank battling gha so it has likely been more stressed out over the past month.
It has been eating however tonight it did not seem interested in partaking the LRS Reef Frenzy with the other fish. He is still actively eating nori and tonight I swapped out the normal brand for some vitamin and garlic enriched nori and it is eating that as well. I feed LRS and nori daily. It looks well fed with good color.
I have noticed possible white things at the tip of one of the pec fins and now this facial spot. It has had similar spot on its side some time ago which went away over a few days.
I'm thinking it is lymphocystys or maybe flukes. All my fish were treated with either copper or TTM when purchased and also treated with prazipro prior to adding to DT. I dont QT inverts or coral.
I have had the fish for about 4 months.
My water parameters from last weekend
No3 4ppm, Kh 10.1, Po4 0.0, Ca 450, Mg 1560, Ph 8.21 avg, Tmp 78, SG 1.026
After taking hundreds of pics these are the best I could get.
