My tank is 4 months old and I believe I started getting Dino. I am reading a ton of different methods on how to deal with them. I have a 13.5 gallon tank and need help on battling this as I am new to reefing and my tank is only 4 months old. Is their any snail or fish that eats Dino? Any help or suggestion for starting point would be a great help.

There are a TON of different methods that people have used and have tried to get rid of dinos.....I can only tell you what worked for me. Unfortunately there is no fish or snail that eats them. I got rid of them with weeks of manual removal and the addition of UV.

Also, it’s very hard to tell in a photo, but those look like chrysophytes to me. You would need a microscope to know for sure.

Agree with @dwest They look like chrysophyte to me too.
Agree that to be sure you need a microscope.

you treat Dino’s and Chryso differently so a confirmation based on microscope pic will help a lot. Just post Microscope pics on here (in the huge Dino thread) and a lot of people can help identify.

You can get a cheap microscope on amazon and it will come in handy over time identifying things in your tank.
