Check for nudibranchs or you have very low nutrients in the system.
What kind of nutrients are we talking, and other than huge amphipods crawling all over the monti, I found egg looking things???

why reduce the photo period? This corals loves light, LOVES light! And Flow! Give it strong light and good flow.

What is your calcium level if you are dosing calcium?

They don't like changes in alk either, keep parameters as steady as possible.

Yes, I have been dosing calcium, and I have not been testing alk, however my question is how do I know if it is getting bleached due to too much light??

Mine is just under the water under metal halides. Unless you have super bright lights I wouldn’t worry. What kind of light do you have?

I have a Current USA Orbit Marine LED Reef Aquarium Light, also is it worth buying the test kit for stuff like alk and calcium or no

That’s the first thing you should buy if you want to do this hobby long term and if you plan on dosing anything. Some people get away with not testing if they have a few corals and just rely on water changes. If I were you I would either rely completely on waterchanges and feeding your tank/fish consistently, or get test kits and see what your parameters are.
