Hi

I just added 2 xr15 g4 pro.
I managed to set them to a template with 4 weeks acclimate.

I have 2 issues:
1. One seems to be brighter than the other.
2. They never turn off completely, but runs with a low blue/moonlight all night.

Anyone with experience that can help me troubleshoot?

Haven't been able to get mobius to work.
Ecosmart live says 'Ready', but I cannot find any devices with the mobius app.

I had an issue when i first set up. Ecotech sent me a link to fix it, but i don’t remember what it was and cant find the link, but it was a quick fix. Reach out to them.

I might try that.
I would like to get rid of the 'moonlight' and make sure the intensity are the same asap though.

Any ideas on what to check on the ecosmart interface?

I found out even though it says '0%' on the graph at end it still has the blue channel on? Think I fixed that.

I found my PAR meter and one was roughly 100% more PAR than the other...
Had to remove the right unit, and then program just the other device to get it to work.

I'm stumped that such expensive devices are so crappy built, when it comes to controlling them and software.

Dont say that too loud. If you call higher end lighting overpriced, the hater police come out.

At least i give Kessil some credit for not using commodity led diodes like everyone else does. But still, what you get is not what you paid for

True.
I'm sure the light is great, just not the controls.

I also fint it odd the mobius not working.
When adding the device I removed it wouldn't connect back using USB cable. Somehow the wireless connection worked fine?

I'm just gonna let them be for now and hopefully my settings are acceptable.

Send a ticket to Ecotech support, within 24 hours, they will send you the link that got mine hooked up on Mobius

Sounds like you may need to perform the calibration function if the lights appear to be different intensity visually. That could also be the reason they are not turning all the way off during the nighttime hours too.
Make sure you’re using the program lights/aquarium at the top left of the page and not just the save button at the bottom right corner when making changes.... done that countless times myself.

Thanks for the ideas.
The moonlight is because, even though the last point on the graph shows 0%, the blue is in fact still on.

I did fix the different intensity issue, by only having one device added and program them individually.

The software is pretty buggy, but seems to be ok now, and I'll just leave them alone for now.
