I just got a new AI prine HD and i can control the colors manually through an app. I just dont know how intense to make it and how much blues and how much white and all that i need to do. At least the ratios between them. I kinda like more blue because my zoas glow buy i dont know if more blue will be bad. Its on a 10 gallon nano to. I have my blues at 38% while my whites and everything else at 30% my uv is the same as my blues. Any advice would be apreciated.

What dis you have before. You may want to acclimate it.
What tank is it on and what are the dimensions?
How high above the tank is it

@ReeferMadness80G You have the prime hd? could you give a hand?
Lol i feel like you follow my posts. But do very much apreciate the advice. Before my lights were a 9inch dual T5 setup. Its on a nuvo 10 gallon nano all in one tank dimensions are 12×15×13. Its about id say a foot to 14inches from the top of tank. The only coral in it is zoas but since its been on here the past three days ive noticed diatomes growing now.

lol, There's six of me.
hang on, I hope we can get a AI user in to get the easy answer. You'll want to match the Par from the two lights and eventually probably go up a bit from there.

I dont have a par meter either. Im just curious to the max i can go on this light for this size tank. Are you alowed to use more blues then whites?

Salty, you'll love this one. Buy yourself a Lux Meter like this one, Docooler 200,000 Digital Light Meter LCD Luxmeter Lux/FC Luminometer Photometer Measure Tester https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EYZNEV4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_.W9bzbVWAXEB1
It's 12 bucs and you'll have a solid measurement for your lighting, it's hard for us to determine how much light your asking to use if you can't measure. But like Salty said, you'll want to acclimate, and there is a setting on your ai Prime app for that, I believe it starts you out at 50% of what you choose. I'm going to upload a snapshot of what I use, it's worked pretty well for me.

I have an SPS tank so I run my lights pretty high, about 22k-23k LUX I have zoas that about 5 inches under water and my light is about 11" AWL

I looked at your par reader on amazon but how can i use that in the fish tank...? And when it comes to lighting what colors are the most importank and are not? Like do i need red and green in my lights?

Feel blessed that @saltyfilmfolks is following you! Honestly the dude knows so much and is 1 of 2 of the top lighting guys on R2R, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. He's definitely someone you want guiding you. Ok I'm done kissing his butt.

this is what I have my Hydra's at. Make sure your white are not to high.
Settings as of 3-31-17.PNG

As far as the diatoms growing, what's your parameters? Are you using Tap water to top off? How old is the tank?
Havnt checked the paramaters its been cycling for i think 3 to 4 weeks. I was gonna get the water tested this weekend to see if its done cycling. The top of water is R/O water from my LFS same with my salt water. I only have coral in there because thwy came up from the live rock
