Need help with green algae & selecting a good filter or water-pump

I've reefing for 3 months now and I have a 30 gallon tank with 4 saltwater fishes. Trying to decide if I need an Ecotech Vectra water-pump. The main issue I'm trying to solve now is massive green algae that often goes out of control when I go onto vacation. Will an ecotech vectra being a good solution to eliminate green algae breakouts?

Can someone please tell me if I need an ecotech vectra or an advanced water filtration system for my 30 gallon or it's an overkill since I'm still in trial stage?

I have an ecotech led lights and fishes are corals are happy with it. I set it on for roughly 7 hours a day so excessive lighting shouldn't be an issue.

Can you provide a pic of your tank, and a pic of the algae you are talking about under white lights.

Also we will need to know some parameters.

Salinity, nitrates, phosphates to start.
