Some sort of sponge. Bump

Looks like a sponge (quite a beautiful one, personally). It might not survive (or experience some die-off), since it has been exposed to air, but hitchhiker species like these tend to be quite resilient.

I love sponges except one before had some sort of acid and burned a huge hole into my lobo and killed it
