Need help with ID

So I just found a number of these "growing" in my return portion of my sump. It is fed from a 110 display (mixed reef) and a 14 gallon fuge (rubble, chateo, anthelia). Let me know if need better pics and will post tomorrow. Did the best I could at moment. Looks almost like a sponge that has feeder tentacles on it? Weird. Doesn't move as if it were a live critter, like a nudi and such, and appears attached via the base.
