Need help with ID

Have little white things look like Aptasia but they are white and not tan color.....will show a pic, but how do you post a pic to here.....they are all over my macro algae in my sump

Don't let the color fool ya. Both appies and hydroids love algae clumps. Can you pluck a couple off to put in a container of water and see what it looks like then? You may have to wait for it to uncurl, though.

All I know is when you touch them they shrink up, don't know if Hydroids do that too, will try and pull a few off and take another pic

Def aiptasia, i have the same problem. They grow all in and out of my macro algae tree. Just clip the leaves and toss them

Lol if I start clipping would have no more macro algae there has to be like 50 to 100 of these, might just throw algae out and get some new

Clean up a little piece of algae and put it back in. It will grow again.

Yes, hydroids do that too, but as said, those are aippies.

Yup they look like aiptasia to me in those more recent photos as well

Aiptasiax will kill them but if they are everywhere you can't get all of them I'd do what lionfish lair stated, clip some of the micro and take the rest out and toss.
