Not sure what this is - looks green under blue lights. Seems to irritate my zoas.

Thank you for IDing it.

What should I do? Is there a good way to get rid of them? Pluck them with tweezers?
If they're colonial hydroids, which I suspect they are, they have a hard tube. Best bet is to scrape them off, but try not to upset your zoas in doing so.

They look like they have hard tubes but it turns out they don't. When I try to grab them with tweezers they shrivel up and I can't get between zoas. i think I poked a zoa while trying and I saw it release a brown stream of something into the water... Any ideas on what I can try next?

Make sure you have a fine point applicator for super glue and just put a dab over them. That's what I do when they get on my frags.

Thanks for the tip Mike. I'll try that. Do you pull it out of the water or can I do it in the water?
