I am currently running a dual 130 watt PC with 10k and 460 bulbs

I want to build a led strip that will add more blue to make to coral pop for instance my neon green candy cane.

I have electrical experience just not with leds and circuit boards I am a residential electrician

I want to spend as less as possible and I don't know what bulbs and stuff to use. I have a small 22+2 led fixture I am going to rob the power supply from

If someone can help me it would be great

I'm not big on PC fixtures....the bulbs lose wavelength within months and the replacement bulbs are fairly costly. I think cost wise you would be better off trashing the PC's and, if dollar conscious, pick up Reefbreeders value fixture(s) at $179/each. They are a fantastic value.

As far a reusing the power supply from an old fixture, read up on forward voltage and ohms law and make sure the supply fits the needs of your new LEDs.

Yeah I'm going to upgrade when I can. I just want to add something similar to the t5 22000k blue. Just with leds I also thought about making a new fixture using my pcs and adding 2 t5 fixtures as well. Then later on swapping the PCs for 2 more t5s
