I was wondering if i could get some help with lighting my 120g tank. Tank is 60"x18"x26" looking to keep soft and lps coral for now. What light should i go with? could i get away with 2 ai prime 16hd? or should i go bigger with 2- hydra32? or another light ?

By the dimensions you are using that’s 120 gallon tall. Taking that into account you would want a high powered light so that you can get usable par at the bottom of the aquarium. So the 32’s would work better in that case.

What’s your budget and what are you trying to keep in there? Neither of those options are going to keep 60” well lit.

I was hoping to stay under 1500 for the lights in total looking to keep lps and soft coral sps later on down the road

That's a really healthy budget for that tank. You could do 3 of the Hydra 32 and then add a 4th down the road of you need it. You could also add the aquatic life hybrid fixture.

I'm personally partial to Kessil so i would get 4 used a360 for $225 or so each, and then add a 470nm LED bar from aliexpress.
