Need help with Lighting and Fixture...? Is this Lighting Good?

I'm not as big a fan of spotlighting the center of tanks. I like light spanning both ends. So that would kind of be up to you on that. It would fit though

Yeah, ok ill just get the 2 white AI Prime one, it's on sale anyway.

Hey, I ended up buying 2 AI prime HD LED, instead of the AI Prime regular LED. Does the extra watts or voltages (lights) affect my reef? I'm kinda scared.

Also, I have a question about these? Does benefit corals in my tank?

The extra power isn't going to hurt anything unless you're careless. These lights will grow any coral in the tank you desire. But you have to set them correctly. Any lights can negatively effect a reef if you over do it. Do some research and use some known settings and intensities that work, don't just set them how you feel they look best. When using LEDs that's the best way to cook a tank.

The videos are a little long but really good, hope they help.

Thanks for posting those. I feel like this BRS lighting series is the most concise and easy to understand explanation of the benefits and ability (and setbacks) of the three popular light sources. InDahOcean you should definitely watch these.

I also recommend reading this. This study suggests some known color settings that work very well for various types of corals.

The key with LEDs is pick the correct setting, and just don't overdo it on intensity.

Aye, thx guys. I thought all I need to do is setup the lightings, and just let the magic happens. I guess there are more to it.
