Need help with my duncan coral

hey y’all got myself a Duncan whisker coral last week and it was wide open for like 3 days i did a water change and buffed my ph alittle now it’s closed up don’t know if it’s ths light or the water no idea

My water is pretty good
NitrAte 10
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
Ph8.1-8.2
Calcium 380
Light im using a marine orbit “ regular not the the pro “ at 10 hours of day light with 45 white 80 blue
Wave maker 240gph

Ca a bit low, but no a huge deal, just work to get it up. Nothing in that system should be using ca that fast if water changes are being done regularly. Like many lps, these guys will close in when annoyed and when light cycle changes. So if the watchman there got on it or too close, the lights came on or went off, they will close a bit. Try feeding a bit of brine or mysis. These guys benefit from feeding.

Keep an eye out for polyps never extending, brown jelly like around it. Flow looks to be okay as I see the leather and coco worms doing great.

Yah the leather blew up like twice the size when i got it two weeks ago and coco are pretty cool they living the life i actually used my crab pellets as my main feeder everything likes those i gave a piece to each head says they high in Ca so i figured it would be best now it matter of minutes it opened up alittle more so many I’ll try doing that
