I am really cleaning my Eshopps HOB Protein Skimmer PSK-75H for the first time after about 4 months of use. I was scrubbing out some algae from inside and suddenly a small quarter circle plastic piece fell out. I can't figure out what it does or where it goes. Please see the picture below. Does anyone know what to do with this? I hope I did not break it.

If you look at pics you can see this piece inside just above the tube closest to bubble plate. (top left in this pic) plastic is parallel to bubble plate and over hole in side of skimmer.

Thanks for the replies. So I see where it goes now. I just spent the last hour trying to get it back there but the base is so narrow it's nearly impossible.

I'd give eshopps a shout and see if they will replace the body. If it was properly welded in place, you would have jagged or broken half circle, not a piece that looks perfectly round. See if they will at least accept it for repair.

And call, I had to contact to purchase a replacement impeller and never got a response through email.
