no worries ,no problem! will handle as much as you can put in a 90![]()
No kidding. it's a pretty big skimmer when you consider it's a straight body and not a cone or wine bottle shape.

Octo 150SSS is rated significantly lower on BRS. That makes me pretty nervous about its capability.

The Red Sea 600 has too big of a footprint. The Octo150SS says it won't handle a 90 gallon with heavy bioload. It might, and I may not have a heavy bioload, I jest want to be prepared in case I do.
I love Tunze products, but have not experience with their skimmers. Will it handle the load?
I would think that Reff Octo would know more than bulk Reef, plus maybe they just typed in the wrong specs, seen it before on the UV SterilizerOcto 150SSS is rated significantly lower on BRS. That makes me pretty nervous about its capability.
I am setting up a 90 gallon reef with a Tideline 30" refugium sump. I am trying to select a skimmer that will fit in it that will do a really good job, and be as quiet as possible. I would also like to stay under $350 (if possible)
Here is a link to the sump.

The skimmer chamber says it is 8" x 11"
I really like the Bubble Curve 7, but I think it might be cutting it pretty close on the dimensions.
Can anyone suggest a nice skimmer, assuming heavy bioload?
Yes there is, you just don’t put the white hose in the red tubeSeparate question. On the 150SSS with the air intake being built into the riser, is there any way to run a CO2 scrubber to help with PH
