Need help with plumbing........please !!

Sup guys, I recently purchased a peninsula 500 and trying to create my own plumbing going to the basement. I would like to run 1" piping for but drains and 1.5" for return but I can't figure out how to do that without creating choke points. The black connectors that come with the tank are all 32mm which is not threaded but glued. If I can get those connectors without the piping I would be able to achieve my setup. I called Red Sea today attempting to get replacement return connectors that are 32 mm but they do not supply those replacements. They said the only option is to purchase part #42221 which is 16mm and then use an adapter to increase to the desired pipe size. There has to be another way !
Can someone point me in the right direction PLEASE!

So unfortunately you are limited to 3/4 inch return on the Red Sea tanks. You can reduce it down at the last second using the 42221 piece. You will need to go from 1.5 down to 3/4 at the actual connection.

I am putting my sump into the basement which is 15ft away from the tank. I am using vectra l2 pump which is 1.25 outlet.

If the plumbing above the hose adaptor (return) us metric and 32mm, you can purchase a 32mm to 1" (Metric to standard adaptor) to do the job. Cut the Red Sea Return plumbing right above the return hose adaptor and glue the metric to standard adaptor to it. At least you will be dealing with a 1"/32mm plumbing for lat couple of feet of the return.

I thought of doing that but issue with the peninsula plumbing is they glued a 90 degree elbow right away. I need it to go straight down.

Can you do the cut after the elbow and make it standard from that point on?

Yes I guess I can but I was trying to reduce the amount of 90 degree turns I use. Also if I do that I have no where to secure the pipe going down with the valve.
