need help with pump

I completely forget what skimmer I have but the pump it is using now is the hy-2000s well it is broken and I am wondering if the hy-3000s will work with my skimmer or do I have to buy another hy-2000s?

The SRO series of skimmers really are maxed out with the pump they come with and would not suggest anything more powerful. I would suggest replacing the pump with a new Bubble Blaster 2000 or a newer variable control pump like the VarioS 2S or 4S, depending on what skimmer model you have.
