I'm building a stand for a 40g and want to make the sides and front removable for easy access. Has anyone done this, and if so, what kind of magnets did you use? Thanks in advance for your help!

I've personally never done it, but I can tell you the magnets you want are neodymium magnets.....some time called neo magnets. They are super strong and should easily hold the sides to the stand. Sorry I can't offer more help.

+1 on the neodyminum magnets

I posted a couple links and decided to look at them and got re-routed to a hijack virus warning page.
Hope no one else did.

Well, I just ordered 25, approximately 1/2 inch (12 mm) disc neo's from eBay for $5, free shipping. This post has given me the impetus to finally finish the doors on my JBJ stand I'm building. The only issue is that they will be on a slow boat from you-know-where, and won't be here until Jan. 12– Jan. 26
