need help with ro unit

I was looking at my last today and they have a 4 stage aquatic life ro unit for $130. is this a good router unit or should I get something different. thanks for the help this is it for reference.

Never used one personally but they are a cool concept. I've seen some good reviews online for them as well.

I have bought a different unit. But i found out after the purchase that my city water uses chloramine. So i had to buy an add on for the chloramine.

I use this one. I took the extra time though and called the water company to find out what they used and how much first. It probably landed me on some watch list but oh well.

Think proprietary filters - every one of them, including the membrane.
Hmm. No spec's on the membrane, or the carbon block, and color changing DI resin ... in a proprietary opaque housing...
